Readers Service

 

  • Circulation Service

(1)  Use NTUST ID card to directly borrowing and returning books.  Circulation Rules and Privileges.
(3)  Borrowed materials should be returned before the due date. Fines are $2 per item per day. overdue fine are paid by cash at the Library.

  • Book Drop Service

Please return the books in person to the Hwa Hsia Campus Library before the due date.

  • Library Facilities & Services

(1)Self-Service Copy Area：
(Ⅰ)It is located on the 1st floor. color, black and white printing/ photocopying services.
(Ⅱ) Payment method：EasyCard

Color copy or printing NT$7 NT$14

(2) Information Retrieval Area：It is located on the 1st floor, we have wireless access throughout the University.

(Ⅰ)Please respect intellectual property rights when using the computers.
(Ⅱ) Please handle the computers and peripherals with care. For inquiries about electronic resources, other self-edited documents, please be responsible for saving them yourself. When you leave your seat, the computer will restart, and the previous files will not be recoverable.

  • Audio-Video material Service

AV Materials which located on the 2nd floor, are public Releases and provides equipment for users to view here.

  • Textbook Section

To protect intellectual property rights on campus and encourage legal use of resources, we provide a used textbooks platform. Duplicate textbooks from our collection are irregularly listed and free for students.

  • Request Cross-campus Loan Service  (From March 31, 2025)

  1. Patrons have the privilege of borrowing items stored in other campus (up to 5 volumes per month).

  2. Patrons will be informed of the result by an Email. If you receive the email, please pick it up at the Circulation Desk as soon as possible. We will keep the item for you up to 7 days.

  3. You will not be allowed to borrow it if you do not collect it in due time and will be suspended from using this service for 30 days if you break the rule twice.

  4. To align with the school bus schedule, this service will stop accepting applications one week before the end of the semester.
