NTUST Library Cross-Campus Loan Service

To enhance service quality, and facilitate the circulation and utilization of library resources, the NTUST Library offers the “Cross-Campus Loan Service”.

🔎 Cross-Campus Loan Service
Eligible Users: NTUST faculty, staff, and students

🔎 Service Scope:
Books and audiovisual materials with a status of "Available" at both NTUST Library and Hwa Hsia Library.
Items borrowed through this service can be returned at either the NTUST Library or the Hwa Hsia Library.

This service only applies to cross-campus requests; books from your home campus must be borrowed in person.  

🔎 How to Apply:
1.    Visit the library's online catalog system, search and find the book, then click the "Retrieve" button on the status section.
2.    Carefully read the terms of use in the application form, complete the CAPTCHA verification, and log in with your borrower credentials to submit the request.  

Once the request is processed, the library will notify you via email. After receiving the email notification, visit the designated library with your student ID card to borrow the books.
Books will be held for 7 days. (based on the system notification date).  

🔎 Notices:
1. Each user may request up to 5 items per month, including a maximum of 3 audiovisual materials.
2. After making the book request, please collect them in due time, or else we will no longer put them on hold.  And you might also be suspended from using this service for 30 days if breaking the rule twice.
3. To align with the school bus schedule, this service will stop accepting applications one week before the end of the semester.
4. Users can check their request status in the “Cross-Campus Loan Record” section if a request cannot be fulfilled.
